I created two detailed interior cabin models (Standard and Topline (Highline)) of Scania S truck, involving modeling, unwrapping, texturing, and integration in Unity. Starting with only the exterior mesh, I modeled the interiors based on reference photos and online resources. Using a mid-poly workflow with supporting edges, I controlled shading for a balanced poly count and smooth finish. Where shading issues arose, I applied Blender’s data transfer modifier to correct and ensure seamless shading – a technique I use frequently to align geometry and shading. Key elements like the steering wheel and seats are mapped to a dedicated Detail texture, while other surfaces use tiled trims. Decals and emissive elements are each mapped to unique textures. The larger cabin variant has a total of 252,000 triangles. The truck’s exterior was created by another team member.
