MP5 SD with an integrated suppressor – I created this asset to improve my hard surface modeling and texturing skills. I took MP5 gun from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (Warzone) as my reference. I also designed 3 custom skins for the finished model named: “Crimson Echo”, “Golden Hive” and “Space Travel”. Each part (Gun, Magazine, Vertical grip) has separate texture set so that it can be used in other weapons (future assets). Texture resolution of each set is based on texel density. The low and high poly meshes were modeled and unwrapped in Blender and then baked and textured in Substance Painter. The creation process is recorded and published on my YouTube channel in form of 3 timelapses.
